I know there are thousands of places to get coffee, especially in Seattle, but my favorite place right now is Seattle Coffee Works. The quality of the coffee is AMAZING, and I am never disappointed with what I order. It is near Pike Place Market, so it can get quite busy, but it's honestly worth the wait. Even though in the booths my feet don't touch the floor, it's still always really comfortable and has a great atmosphere. I meet friends there all the time and we always leave happy. The people who work there provide great service and are always really friendly, which is great for when I've had to wake up really early (I'm definitely not a morning person). The only kind of bad thing I will say about them, is that their food selection is a little lacking.
If you want to check it out here's the address: 107 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101
I'm pretty much just chatting to nobody for my own entertainment. I post when I remember to and feel like it. Thanks for stopping by :)

Chicken Fajita Quesadillas
Everyone loves food. It’s just a fact of life! For a
long time I wanted to be a chef, but I soon realized that what I really wanted was to just eat delicious
food ALL THE TIME. I'm quite a messy person to be honest, but I have a system I
swear! I am an organized crazy person. That’s another thing I like about
cooking. I can go a thousand miles an hour and fling food from one end of the
house to the other and still end up with an amazing meal. Since I'm usually
busy singing and dancing while I cook, this happens more often than not. I found
this recipe on Pinterest, and it is simple but amazing. I'm sure there are ways
to substitute out the unhealthy stuff and you guys will probably know better
than me about that (notorious junk food addict here), but it’s still pretty
healthy. As you probably guessed by the title, it’s a Chicken Fajita
Quesadilla! For some reason I'm not a huge fan of chicken, but I actually liked
it in this recipe
The first time I made it, I followed the recipe
exactly. It was pretty good, but I made a few changes the next time. When I made
it the second time I added more peppers and less cheese. When I made it the
first time I felt like I was being drowned in cheese. Yuck! So I added less
cheese and more of the other stuff. I also didn’t have any more fajita sauce so
I just used Taco seasoning. Which is kind of the same thing…right? I also didn’t
just use one tortilla per quesadilla. I used 2 medium sized tortillas for each
quesadilla, which made it easier to fry up. I used butter in the skillet and
waited until it was sizzling hot before I put the quesadilla in. This made them
crispier and tastier! This recipe only called for sour cream as a side dip,
which I thought was a little boring. So I added some guacamole and salsa for my
version! The picture below was taken right before I ate them. By myself. All of it. Haha!
All in all, it was a success.
I rate this Recipe: Love It!

Spotify
I listen to music almost nonstop, no matter what I'm
doing. So it’s really important for me to have a good easy system to get to my
music. For a while I used Pandora which is good for if you just want a general
genre but I got annoyed with the amount of commercials as well as the fact that
there were so many songs that played that I didn’t like. I wanted something
where I could choose specific songs and only listen to the ones I’d chosen,
without having to pay an arm and a leg. My brother actually introduced to me to
Spotify, and I will admit that I was
a little bit skeptical at first. I didn’t want to have to take all that time to
search out the music I wanted and put it together. What can I say; I take lazy
to an extreme. But I thought I’d give it a try, so I made an account and got
started. I first started using it on my desktop computer, so I didn’t realize
how different it was on mobile devices. To be completely honest, I HATE using
it on my phone. On my computer I can choose an exact song to play but on mobile
you can only choose the shuffle option unless you want to buy premium for a fee
every month. Also, you can only skip a set amount of songs every hour, so if
you don’t like a song and you’ve used all your skips you’re basically screwed. It
is good for sharing your music with friends, so that’s a bonus.
I rate this product:
For the desktop version: Love It!
For the app: Leave it.

The Food Of Spain
Before we get going, I’d like to just say that I'm not
actually judging ALL the food in Spain! This is the title of an amazing cook
book by Claudia Roden. While I am no expert on foreign foods, their history, or
even a harsh critic, I do appreciate a well written cook book. I have checked
this book out several times from the library, and I love it every time. Sometimes
I don’t even get around to making anything, I just read through it. It is
beautifully written and not only has rich beautiful recipes but it also has
rich and beautiful histories. It is quite heavy so if you’re going to get
yourself one, be prepared! I really love trying different foods from different
places, and if you just have a craving for wonderful and authentic Spanish food
then this book is for you.
I rate this product: Love It!

September Favorites
Hello everyone!! I know I'm a day late, but I hadn't actually decided to do monthly favorites until just now. I think it'll be fun to be able to look back on this month and see what kind of things I got to enjoy. So let's get started!
This was actually a bit of a hard choice because there are so many amazing vloggers out there (Zoella, Tyler Oakley, & Grace Helbig to name a few) that I absolutely love, but I did end up choosing Tanya Burr. She has such an amazing personality and style that I never get bored of watching her videos. She is just so real and likable! I was really impressed with not only the quality of her videos but the content as well. If you're looking for a fashion guru or just need a pick-me-up, I definitely suggest checking out her channel on YouTube.
I was originally drawn to this book because the title was quite funny. It's called If Ignorance is Bliss, why Aren't There More Happy People?: Smart Quotes for Dumb Times by John Mitchinson and John Lloy. When I got it, I thought it would be in the format of a normal book, but it is just pages and pages of quotes from famous people (past and present) and it's organized by topic. I absolutely love it and have been laughing my head off at the choices they picked. I feel this would be a great book to have set out on a coffee table for visitors to flip through, and I may have to buy my own copy soon. One of my (many) favorite quotes that I've found so far is, "Everything you see, I owe to spaghetti." which was apparently said by the beautiful Sophia Loren. So if that beauty icon says spaghetti's ok, then who am I to argue?

FOOD/DRINK
I know everybody has different tastes when it comes to foods and drinks, but I have really enjoyed this tea a lot and I feel like it's not too strong or like a special flavor so a lot of people could enjoy it. It's called Jasmine Green Tea by Teatulia and it comes with 30 round tea bags. The tea bags (which are stringless/tagless) and the container are compostable which is wonderfully Eco friendly. It's got a very smooth taste and makes me feel happy and content, which is always good when I'm stressing over things.
MAKEUP
I did talk about this in another post, but I loved it so much I had to add it to this list! I just find that it goes on really well, and it lasts for ages. When I'm running to my classes, catching a bus, or just flat out busy, I don't have time to make sure my eyeliner is in place. With this liquid eyeliner by kleancolor I never even think about the state of my eyes because it's so long lasting. To learn more about this product click here.
